Speaking of perfect spring dresses, I had a lunch meeting with local jewelry designer Elizabeth Showers (whose designs are feautered in the current Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue) at Forty Five Ten today and of course, had to make a loop around the store to see what temptations they had awaiting. Several items caught my eye including a one-shoulder (big trend this season) rouched jersey dress by Yigal Azrouel, which I happily walked away with. For those of you interested in seeing what the young and talented designer has to offer for fall (pictured at left), Forty Five Ten is holding a trunk show March 30th and 31st. Be sure to check out the fun graffiti inspired enamel bangles by Bylu (which just so happen to be featured on the current cover of D Beauty), at less than $100 each they are an affordable accessory you can wear with just about anything. I especially loved the “handcuff bangles” which feature two bracelets connected by a brass chain.
