2. The Fashion Insider: Christine Visneau, 37
Fashion stylist and mom of 9-year-old Miette and 6-year-old Amelie

A glance at Christine Visneau (chic pixie, effortlessly cool attire), her resume (fashion design and styling career), and her fashion photographer husband and you’d assume her beauty routine is intense. But it’s not.

“I really like to eat whatever, and the weirder the better.” Breakfast: “Breakfast is instant oatmeal.” Snacks: “I’m not really a snacker, but I’ll have the occasional Cheez-Its since the photo studio where I work has a closet stocked with them.” Lunch: “Sadly, it’s probably a cheeseburger. I’m a big meat eater.” Dinner: “I cook from scratch, so it’ll be fish or meat and vegetables. I’m quite a foodie, so I eat out a lot as well, but I eat small portions.” Lucia and Taverna are favorites. Beverages: “I drink a lot of water, and I try to stay away from soda. I have one cup of coffee every morning, and then two times a week I’ll have a mocha. When I drink, I stick to white or red wine. I don’t really ever have more than two glasses.” Vitamins: “I take a multivitamin every evening.”

“I go to a 5:30 a.m. Jazzercise class two or three times a week. It covers warm- up to aerobics, Pilates, yoga, and weight training, all in an hour, and it’s fun. I grew up in New Jersey and sometimes I would go with my mom—she still goes. Once a week I also do a 45-minute stretching class. I try not to overcommit. The key is to be like, ‘If I just do it one day a week, it’s better than nothing.’ ”

Clarisonic_system Clarisonic mia skin cleansing system, $119,

Skin Care
“I start off with the Clarisonic ($100-$200), which is life changing. And I use retinol every night, followed by Image Skincare Vital C Hydrating Anti Aging Serum ($50). I get a monthly signature facial at Facelogic. I love Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer ($43), but all the other products are interchangeable.”

Nars_Blush_Orgasm Nars orgasm blush, $28,

“For daytime, it’s just a little bit of Nars Blush in Orgasm ($28) and mascara. I like a stronger eyebrow, so I use an eyebrow pencil. I like the Benefit Instant Brow Pencil ($20). At night, I do a super dark eye with a dark navy eyeliner. Once I put makeup on, I’m not touching it up, so lipstick never really works out. I like to buy beauty products, so I switch it up quite a bit. I always carry a tube of Aquaphor ($5), and I slather that on—I slather it all over my children, too.”

“I can get ready in about 20 minutes. I don’t use hair products or a particular shampoo. I just buy cheap and then I switch it up. The secret is that I wash my hair at night and sleep on it wet. I finally, after being [in Dallas] for 10 years, found the perfect person to cut my hair: Beau Bollinger at Osgood O’Neil. I go every six weeks, and I’m pretty religious about that. I won’t leave the salon without making my next appointment. For color, I just buy whatever is on sale and do it myself.”

Chloe_Perfume Chloe eau de parfum, $90,

“I do my eyebrow waxing at Facelogic, too. I use Johnson’s Bedtime Bath ($7). I love the smell. In the winter, I use Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil ($56) and in summer, Lubriderm lotion with an SPF ($8). For perfume, I wear Chloé ($90).”
