Consider the numbers in the chart below a barometer that reveals the intensity of the house-buying pressure in our area. The chart shows North Texas home sales from January through April 2016, and compares them to figures from the same time period last year. Also, we compared the prices to those from the same period in 2013. As for the names of the neighborhoods and their boundaries: that’s the work of the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, which compiles all sales data in our region from the various multiple listings services. As always, we are thankful to NTREIS and to the Texas A&M Real Estate Center for sharing this information.
