Occupation: president, Linking the World
Chang is the president of Linking the World, a worldwide aid organization made up of feeding programs, medical clinics, schools, and disaster response teams. Philanthropy is in her blood. Both parents are retired Salvation Army commanding officers, and her childhood included traveling to other countries to help relieve suffering. Now she’s introduced that life to her 7-year-old daughter. “She’s on her second passport and considers people all over the world her friends,” she says. There’s also been plenty of international flavor in Chang’s former career, as a singer performing in both Korean and English.
