The Best Breakfast Tacos in Dallas

Tacos y Mas
The shack in the parking lot of a car wash and a CVS serves breakfast tacos street style for $1.19. Your choice of potato, ham, bacon, or chorizo. Or have lunch for breakfast and pay 30 cents more for the bistek or pastor, double-wrapped in corn tortillas. They come with salsa verde, chopped onions, cilantro, and a lime wedge on the side. The best part is the company. Seated at one of the outdoor tables, your neighbor could be anything from a day laborer to a banker headed downtown.

Good 2 Go Taco
The tiny joint inside the Green Spot gas station cranks out batches of potato and bacon tacos that wait for you at the cash register. Watch for Erykah Badu.

Chiloso Mexican Bistro
Try chips and salsa at 7 am. Enjoy them with two tacos and a drink for less than $5 from a cheery waitstaff.

Taco Joint
Go for the huge migas tacos (tortilla strips, onions, tomatoes, serranos, eggs, and cheese, $2.69), and expect a line. Also, don’t go on Sunday. It’s closed.

Rusty Taco
A great place to mock hung-over SMU kids—and grab a jalapeño sausage, egg, and cheese taco wrapped in a house-made tortilla.

Torchy’s Tacos
The Austin import does a good migas taco for just $2.50, but the real draw is probably Dublin Dr Pepper on tap. 5921 Forest Ln., Ste 200.
