This holiday season, enjoy afternoon tea with a side of art appreciation at the Nasher Sculpture Center Cafe, now run by Wolfgang Puck Catering. From 2 to 4 pm on Fridays through December 31, all the essentials will be there for your eating (and viewing) pleasure, including fresh-made scones, finger sandwiches such as cucumber and smoked salmon, petite pastries—and, of course, Mark di Suvero’s massive Eviva Amore. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck is no stranger to museum cafes, as his catering company also operates in the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art. Can’t make it to tea? Then we suggest lunching on our favorite salad, the Texas cobb, chock full of avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, Roquefort, and garbanzo beans. Art history lesson included.
