Wrapper’s Delight
1. Brad Hatton designs windows for Hermès, He  used a few pages of Le Monde to wrap these boxes. (The paper is available at Barnes & Noble if you can’t get  to France.) He then topped hand-dyed ribbon from Paper Source with fans made out of paper from Michaels and more newsprint, finishing the look with a scalloped gift tag (cut with a punch purchased at Michaels) and a monogrammed sticker.

2. Billy Milner used a road map, vintage toy car, and Boy Scouts compass (which he adhered to a gift tag) from City View Antique Mall to achieve his travel-themed design, then accented with ribbon from The Container Store. Check out his new store in Deep Ellum, Life of Riley, which is slated to open in February.

3. Perhaps you’ve espied Jocelyn Meinster’s work in New York City. Her pieces have appeared in the famed Bergdorf Goodman windows. She created a beautiful box by using cotton rag paper as the base. The discs are papier-mâché and the stems are white-floral-tape-wrapped wire.

4. Jamie Laubhan-Oliver is our associate creative director. She knows it is better to give than receive, and she gives her all when it comes to creating pretty packaging. She chose lacquer boxes from The Container Store and hot glued geodes from Rock Barrell on top to create gift boxes that are as special as the items inside.
