Meet Dallas’ Queen of Quilts

In the world of patchwork, Shari Lidji's one-of-a-kind quilts rule.

“I’m more likely to be in an art museum looking for inspiration than a quilt store looking at books,” says quilt designer Shari Lidji. It’s for this reason that Lidji’s bed coverings just as easily could be wall hangings—and often are. The average quilt takes two to three months to complete, and clients can have as little or as much input in the design process as they would like. The best part: no two quilts are the same. “I’m glad there are still people out there who value having something unique,” Lidji says. Pick up one of her one-of-a-kind quilts—or nature-inspired ottomans—at Gardens, or visit redllamastudio.com to place a custom order.
