For years, Dallasites needed to be a bit savvy to get their Sugarfina fix. They’ve had to have knowledge of the well-stocked shop-in-shop within Highland Park Village’s Market, or the sprinklings of the brand’s chic treats in boutiques such as Talulah & Hess, The Gypsy Wagon, or Nordstrom. This month, just in time for Valentine’s Day, Sugarfina is opening their first Dallas shop in NorthPark Center, bringing their design-your-own candy bento boxes, Champagne Bears, Parisian Pineapples, and other sophisticated suites to a glossy aqua-and-white space between Nordstrom and Macy’s.

Lovely For Less

If we could assign a holiday to The Loveliest, it would be Valentine’s Day. The turn-of-the-century carriage house in Uptown greets guests with a pink door before revealing an array of linens, candles, pillows and all things pretty, which will be 25 percent off in store and online through Valentine’s Day, because (in their words) “love is a sale.”

Sweet Spot

Do you like macarons and monkey bread? How about The Joule? On February 10 and 14, the hip downtown hotel is combining all the things you love with a pop-up in their lobby starting at 10am. Other house-made treats to expect are sticky buns, sourdough baguettes, hand-painted truffles, and caramel body paint, because Valentine’s Day.

The Perfect Pair

Maybe nobody has swooped in to whisk you off to Napa this year. No problem. You can still get a sommelier-selected flight (paired with local gourmet truffles) at Royal Blue Grocery February 12 through Valentine’s Day. Wanna get crazy? Top your tasting off with a carriage ride around Highland Park for $35.
