The 10th anniversary of this annual tour celebrates the best in residential architecture, regardless of neighborhood. Curated exclusively by AIA Dallas architects, this year’s tour features ten homes in the Urban Reserve, Midway Hollow, Bluffview, and more. In the weeks leading up to the tour, which begins October 29, we’ll share ten conversations with the architects behind the homes you’ll visit. (We’re also giving away tickets!)

Today, Jess Galloway of Booziotis and Company Architects discusses the final home designed by local architect Bill Booziotis. The plan for a Dallas philanthropist’s home (someone Booziotis had known since she was a child) was drawn up during his trip to the Arctic Circle before he even had the job. When he returned and showed her the design, she fell in love.

To witness the 23-foot-tall windows and incredible views of downtown in person (the Malone Cliff home is not featured on the tour), purchase tickets to the AIA Dallas Tour of Homes premiere party on Wednesday, October 26. We’ll also be picking one winner from our ticket giveaway to offer a pair of tickets to the party.
