Great designers have a way of making everything they do seem breezy and effortless, so naturally, they’ve got that whole picture-perfect summer entertaining thing down to an art. Here, we’ve surveyed some of the top local designers to see which party prerequisite they cherish most.

Amy Berry // Amy Berry Design

“Summer entertaining essentials, for me, are a great playlist, margherita crostini, and a bottle of Miraval! I cannot tell you how reliant we are on Royal Blue; they have the best selection of things for last minute entertaining!”

Breck Woolsey // Breckinridge Taylor

A Poglia Knife and Signature Horn & Bone Corkscrew

“All-around amazing items.  Each item is handmade and no two are alike. They are design statements in themselves and will get your guests talking.  Also, perfect for cutting up limes to go into a cold Topo Chico and opening a cold bottle of Rose for my wife at the end of a long day.”

Cynthia Collins // Collins Interiors

Carrie Jane Pogoloff // Blue Print Interiors

Large Resin Ice Bucket ($310 at Blue Print)

Margaret Chambers // Chambers Interiors & Associates

Double-Wall Glass Beverage Dispenser ($109 at Williams-Sonoma)

“I like for people to help themselves. Instead of constantly making and serving drinks for guests, large batches of summery drinks can be made and served in these dispensers from Williams-Sonoma.”

Leslie Jenkins // Jenkins Interiors

Florescent Pink Tray ($145 at Blue Print)

“A bright tray is perfect for serving any type of drink or dish in the summer.”
