Gray Malin must lead a fabulous life. But thankfully, the Dallas-bred photographer known for his aerial views of umbrella-dotted beaches took a break from his exotic travels and selling fine art prints (and beach towels, and swimsuits, and phone cases) to visit his hometown for a signing of the his latest endeavor: a coffee table book aptly entitled BEACHES.

Many a Dallasite—including this D Home writer and longtime fan—turned out to see Malin (rocking a powder blue jacket) at Forty Five Ten on Wednesday night. Whispering Angel rosé was poured and countless“Life’s a Beach” inscriptions were written. In case you missed it, click here to relive the party.
