Looking for a way to satisfy your craving for decadence this Christmas, without eating a whole box of truffles? We’ve got just the fix. Join the Dallas Woman’s Forum for their Christmas Magic event to celebrate the holiday season at the historic Alexander Mansion. Starting today through Sunday, December 6, you can enjoy a tour of the charming home, which is one of only two remaining mansions that once lined Ross Avenue. Inside, you’ll find plenty of elaborate holiday decorations to lift your spirits (and maybe inspire you to spend a little extra on garlands for your staircase this year).

Tour guests are invited to purchase specialty gifts from the boutique upstairs, enter to win “one-of-a-kind items,” and pick up some homemade baked goodies to go. If you’re really looking to make a day of it, make reservations for lunch at the mansion online ($15). Tour tickets can be purchased at the door ($12) or in advance ($10) for either online or by phone.
