When local designer Dana Frieling and her husband found their country living style home in the city of Southlake, they knew it was ready for a remodel. Situated on a spacious 2-acre lot just off of Highway 114, the 1980s built home boasted serene surroundings but had a more traditional vibe. With the goal of bringing it back to its contemporary roots (and into the millennium), the Frielings ripped down the outdated wallpaper, created an entirely mirrored bathroom and completely reconfigured the plumbing.
Add in Frieling’s eye for design and flair for contemporary finishes for an end result that’s clean, comfortable, and wonderfully unique. For more details about the remodel and some great before and afters, head to the Homepolish designer’s blog, Make Them Wonder.
