Three homes. Three neighborhoods. One happy home ogler.

Do you like to home ogle? Do you like driving by houses and thinking to yourself, “I’ve been in there. Their indoor hot tub was quite appealing”? Do you actually need to find a new home to live in? Every other week, I scout out three open houses in three different neighborhoods that look well worth the trip.

17331 Club Hill Drive

Open Sunday, 1 – 4pm

bent tree2

The Neighborhood: Bent Tree

The Price: $1,195,000

Why It Looks Cool: While 17331 Club Hill Drive might look unassuming from the curb, there’s a crazy amount of color going on behind its pretty French doors. From dark blue to coral and even a touch of teal, the Cole Smith designed home does not shy away from daring hues, and it’s a pretty cool sight to see.

3110 Drexel Drive

Open Sunday, 3 – 5pm

DREXEL

The Neighborhood: Highland Park

The Price: $1,775,000

Why It Looks Cool: This Highland Park home is to white what our Bent Tree open house is to color. Read: there’s a whole lot of it. But in this charming, French-inspired abode filled with gorgeous hardwoods, bright marble and wonderfully up-to-date appliances, white works. The only room that goes without the ubiquitous hue is the striking red and gold theater pictured above.

6018 Meadow Road

Open Sunday, 2 – 4pm

preston hollow 2

The Neighborhood: Preston Hollow

The Price: $1,799,000

Why It Looks Cool: With over 7,000 square feet on a spacious lot, the open, high-ceilinged rooms of 6018 Meadow Road look perfectly appropriate. Loads of lovely, traditional touches coupled with great natural light make this Preston Hollow pad a memorable one.
