Let's go home shopping.

2555 N Pearl Street

{NEIGHBORHOOD: UPTOWN}

I went to a party once at one of the The Ritz’s residences. It was beautiful, and I did not want to leave. However, as stunning and luxurious as the aforementioned residence was, this one pretty much blows it out of the water. Probably because this penthouse takes up the entire floor, while the one I visited occupied a lowly half. (Extreme sarcasm implied.) But square footage aside, this really is a gorgeous home with plenty of light to fill up the open floor plan, elegant customized features, a sleek, luxurious finish-out, and of course, access to all of The Ritz’s 5 Star amenities. The views aren’t terrible either. (Sarcasm complete).

5210 Deloache Avenue

{Neighborhood: Preston Hollow}

For the love of all that is opulent and made of limestone, prepare your eyes for some serious luxury living. This Preston Hollow estate boasts some hefty square footage, but it’s been beautifully designed by Fusch, Serold & Partners and just as beautifully landscaped by Harold Leidner with lots of lovely little touches that make 5210 Deloache feel a bit a bit more interesting than your run-of-the-mill, European-inspired home in North Dallas. Just one example: the backyard treehouse and little pink cottage that look like they’d be right at home in your favorite fairytales. If tree climbing’s not quite your thing, the saltwater pool and tennis court are a good alternative.

  • 5210 Deloache Avenue
  • $10 Million
  • 13,328 Square Feet
  • 7 Bedrooms
  • 8.2 Bathrooms

40 Braewood Place

{NEIGHBORHOOD: Bent Tree}

We’ve chatted about this home before, but it’s been some time now, and since this is one of the coolest, nature-centric modern homes I’ve ever laid eyes on, I’m hoping you won’t mind revisiting.40 Braewood Place may look like a traditional, stone-covered home from the sidewalk (credit the neighborhood’s strict architectural requirements), but it reveals its true contemporary colors once you’ve gotten past the vine covered arbors along the stone-paved path to the entrance. Once inside, you can follow the bright main corridor (designed to mimic the path of the sun) all the way out to the backyard infinity pool overlooking White Rock Creek.

By the Numbers

  • 40 Braewood Place
  • $8,975,000
  • 11,090 Square Feet
  • 5 Bedrooms
  • 8 Baths
  • 4 Garage Spaces
  • 4 Fireplaces
  • 1 Pool
