We’re taking a look back at all the wonderful stories that graced our D Home blog this year. Here were your favorites:

  1. The Scoop on Sean and Catherine Lowe’s Vickery Place Home. We talked to The Bachelor‘s golden couple about their new home in Dallas, the secrets behind successfully combining households, and what it’s like being “regular” people now.
  2. Real Estate Report: What $275,000 Buys You in DallasThis budget will get you homes in Lake Highlands, Midway Hollow, and Winnetka Heights.
  3. Hot Property: A Lesson on Style in a Small Space. Richard Graziano’s White Rock Lake-area home is no longer on the market, but his message is still spot on: “We found a lot of different ways to maximize space without having clutter,” he says. “One way that you can make spaces look bigger is through having a consistent style and color palette throughout the house. It makes rooms feel bigger and it all flows in one cohesive space.”
  4. 10 Most Beautiful: 6005 Swiss Ave. “You should drive by it in-person,” editor Laura Kostelny says. “Even if you’re in a bad mood, it really will make you happy.”
  5. Take a Peek into Dallas’ Trendiest Home, Made Out of Storage Containers. Designed by architects Matt Mooney and Michael Gooden, this Peavy Rd. home is one that people either seem to love or hate.

Honorable Mentions: Take a look inside an apartment in Museum Tower and how Dwell with Dignity helped Thomas Eric Duncan’s fiancée find a new home.
