Dwell with Dignity is continually working to provide soothing, inspiring homes for impoverished and homeless families in North Texas. Their latest project has paired them with Juliette Fowler Communities, where they furnished the soon-to-be-open Ebby House, named after the lovely Ebby Halliday.
The Ebby House, located on the Juliette Fowler Communities property, will provide a safe space for women ages 18 – 22 to live and learn about health and wellness, personal finance, career skills, and more. These women have aged out of foster care, but do not have any family ties to support them in the community. Dwell with Dignity furnished the shared living space, as well as the dining area for the new home, which is set to open in the fall.
To see all the photos from the install, you can check out Dwell with Dignity’s blog.
If you’d like to take a tour of the Ebby House, as well as meet author and former-foster child Susie Black Holamon, it will be open on June 19 from 5 – 7 p.m. 1234 Abrams Rd., Dallas, Texas 75214.
