Splurge vs. Save: Graphic Gold Accent Tables

Twice the table for half the price.

I’ve had a style crush on Jonathan Adler’s Nixon tables ever since I spotted the cocktail version on the set of E!’s Fashion Police (which Adler himself designed). Every time I resist the urge to buy a Starbucks iced coffee or I pass on a new pair of shoes, I mentally bank that money toward the purchase of the end table in gold. But at $695, I’m going to have to forgo a loooot of lattes.

…Or maybe not. Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this near-identical pair at Z Gallerie for less than half the price of the Jonathan Adler version. Rather than white lacquer, the Z Gallerie renditions feature antiqued-mirror tops, but at two for $295, who cares? If you really want it white, go buy yourself a $3.76 can of lacquer spray paint and call it a day. A $298.76 day.
