Willetta modeling for Cook’s Champagne

Not all estate sales were created equal, and we’re here to find the creme de la creme for you. This week’s find has got all the estate sale standards (dolls, tons of artwork, fur coats), but there’s something special about it. This is the estate of Willetta Stellmacher, who was the first model for Cook’s Champagne, friend to Frank Sinatra, and a dancer on the Lawrence Welk Show. There are souvenirs from her travels abroad, costumes from her dancing days, and antique Asian furniture. The artifacts from her extraordinary life (I mean, look at the pink tufted chair!) will be for sale at her home, 6243 La Vista Dr Dallas, Texas 75214, on Wednesday — Friday 10 am to 4 pm, and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm.
