Raising The Bar: Obsessed With Bar Carts

|
Image

NewBarCartsTo answer Laura’s post yesterday, the TV show that most inspires me is Mad Men. And it’s not because of my love/hate relationship with Betty Draper. (Why do I love to hate her just to love her again?) Anyway. The wardrobes, the interiors, the sets. I am inspired by it all, so today I bring you four Betty Draper-worthy bar carts in different styles, eras, and price ranges. Stock with pretty crystal, vintage barware, monogrammed linens, and, of course, libations. (Oh, and in case you wondered I take my martini dirty with Kettle One and two blue cheese olives.)

Clockwise from top left: Aldo Turo bar cart circa 1950 from Jan Showers (price upon request); Libations bar cart from Crate & Barrel ( $599); 1950s Milo bar cart from Restoration Hardware ($895); Paul McCobb cart from Sputnik Modern ($1,800)
