I had the pleasure of staying at Liz Lambert’s leafy, secluded hotel on South Congress last year, and it was by far one of my best lodging experiences, of all-time. It was, in fact, the type of place that allows you to heed the sage advice of iconic designer Charles Eames and, “take your pleasure seriously“.
For those of you who haven’t had the chance to visit, think luxe, rock star getaway. It’s all plush towels, million thread count sheets, hand-crafted mattresses, perfect coffee service, impeccable (and discreet) service, tempered with a louche rock and roll vibe. It’s the exact sort of establishment that, say… Mick Jagger would take up residence in while on tour.
