Hot Property: 9014 Eustis Avenue

Peak inside this charming Craftsman.

{Neighborhood: Little Forest Hills}

The houses I tend to choose for our “Hot Property” features gravitate towards the extravagant. Two-story closets and gold braided doorknobs are generally just more interesting. But between you and me, I can’t actually afford any of those houses (a collective gasp is heard round the land) and maybe you can’t either. Either way, it might be nice to see a “Hot Property” that falls decidedly below the $1 million mark every once in while.

9014 Eustis Avenue is a perfect example. With its plantation shutters, large, lovely lot, and light yellow paint job, the Little Forest Hills cottage is what single-family home dreams are made of. The Craftsman house’s charming aesthetic doesn’t stop at the threshold either. The interior boasts gorgeous hardwoods and a beautifully updated kitchen. Plus, the spacious master bedroom, deck, and back house are excellent spots to look out over the massive backyard.

Sure, $418,000 isn’t chump change by any means, but it’s certainly a thriftier deal than last month’s $7 million estate. We deem 9014 Eustis Avenue the picture-perfect place to raise a little prince or princess. Or, at the very least, host some seriously awesome backyard barbecues.

By the Numbers

  • $418,000
  • 1,964 Square Feet
  • Built in 2002
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • 1 Fireplace
