Jasmine Kwon Zutter, studio director and and lead instructor for indoor cycling studio The Ride House, is known for her awesome playlists and contagious energy. Given her expertise, we wanted to know what she always has on hand before and after her classes. Take a peek inside Zutter’s gym bag.
1. Sidi cycling shoes.
2. Kevin Murphy Hydrate Me Wash and Rinse: With my teaching schedule, I have to wash my hair all the time–sometimes more than once a day. It’s important to have products that are sulfate and paraben free so my hair doesn’t get damaged from all the washing.
3. Lululemon Speed Socks: These are my favorite socks to wear to teach class. They’ve got awesome cushioning in the toes and heel that make them really comfortable. I try to pick up a few pairs anytime I’m at Lululemon Athletica in NorthPark Center.
4. Philosophy’s Purity Face Wash and Face Wipes: My favorite product for keeping breakouts at bay. I always have wipes in my bag for a quick cleanse after a sweaty workout if I can’t do a proper wash.

5. Nike Gold Hi-Dunks: As I always say, “I shoes to be happy.” I am pretty proud of my collection of wedge sneakers, and these gold ones are my absolute favorite for running around town before and after class. They just add a little sass to a workout outfit!
6. Beats Wireless Headphones and MacBook Air: I never know when I’ll have a few free minutes to work on playlists or discover new music. I’ve made playlists in the most random places–you name it!
7. A New York Yankees hat: Zutter, who’s a native New Yorker, likes to carry a reminder of home with her.
8. Business Cards.
9. Extra Workout Outfit: I never know when I’ll make a last-minute decision to hop into another one of my instructors’ classes, so I always have an extra outfit ready. The tank is from The Ride House retail shop, and the leggings are made by a brand called Varley and is available at Bandier in Highland Park Village.
10. A Banana and Raw Almonds: Clients often ask me what they should eat before class so they have enough fuel to sustain their workout. My personal go-to is a banana and a handful of raw almonds. It’s enough to get me going, and–more importantly–it never upsets my stomach.
