There are two kinds of highs that come without the use of any foreign chemicals, illicit or otherwise. The first, a so-called “runner’s high” that follows a good, endorphin-firing workout; the second, the sheer euphoria of being in love, whether it’s the rush of a new fling or the comfort of a rock-steady relationship. Most of these songs are earnest declarations of the power of love, from the us-against-the-world mentality of Robyn’s “Indestructible” to the howling mission statement of The Darkness’ “I Believe In A Thing Called Love.” Here’s a workout playlist to help you burn off the box-of-chocolate calories.
