Padmasana, or lotus, is a meditative pose that eases stress and creates a sense of calm. Begin by sitting on the floor with your legs stretched out in front of you. Bend one knee and bring the top of your foot in to meet your hip on the opposite leg, then cross your other leg over and repeat your foot placement on the opposite hip.
