If you’re a fan of Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, you know Kellie Rasberry. Chances are, even if you’re not a fan of the show, you’ve heard of the sweet, southern firecracker.  She relates to her listeners in so many ways: her hit-and-miss relationship with working out, her struggles with divorce, her personal life, and this time of year, her love of Christmas.

I caught up with Rasberry at Hilton Anatole’s Sparkle! event  to talk all things holiday: her favorite Christmas traditions, her workout routine this time of year, and which Christmas song she loves to hear on the radio.

D Magazine: The holiday season gets so crazy! If you have 20 minutes, what’s your go-to workout routine?
Kellie Rasberry: I’ll grab my dog and go walking or jogging. I try to half walk and half jog.

What’s your favorite holiday cheat meal?
It’s definitely my mother’s macaroni and cheese—which is more cheese than macaroni—and her peach cobbler, which is more cobbler than peaches.

What’s your favorite Christmas song?
My favorite Christmas song of all time is, “Oh Holy Night.” I don’t care who sings it, I love it.

How do you define being healthy and fit?
Being healthy and fit means feeling good in your own skin, feeling comfortable in your body. I don’t think its necessarily a weight thing, it’s about how you feel. If you’re able to have energy and do what you want to do, and have joy in your heart, that’s healthy to me.
