President-elect Trump Considering Local Man’s Son for Swamp-Draining Gig. Cruz might be on the list for attorney general. Hey, remember that time Trump connected Cruz’s father, said local man, to Lee Harvey Oswald? Or when Trump threatened to “spill the beans” on Cruz’s wife? Or when Trump said he wouldn’t even accept a Cruz endorsement if he were to give it? We can all learn from this turn of events.

Racist Fliers Posted on SMU Campus. The newsletter entitled “Why White Women Shouldn’t Date Black Men” listed reasons such as “he’s much more likely to abuse you.” SMU has since cleared the campus of the materials, issued a condemnation of the hateful messages, and asked anyone who finds more fliers to call campus police.

Bad Teachers Keep On Teachin’ in DISD. A WFAA-8 investigation finds abusive teachers going from one school to another within North Texas. The news team found dozens of cases including a teacher currently teaching in DeSoto who had once punched a student while at DISD.
