City Attorney: Walt Humann Won’t Get Fair Park Without a Competitive Bid

And his bid will have to beat the one that will be submitted by Monte Anderson and Michael Jenkins.
|

I was going to congratulate Robert Wilonsky on his scoop that the city attorney has determined that Fair Park can’t be handed over to Walt Humann’s foundation because now a second group, this one headed by Monte Anderson and Michael Jenkins, has expressed interest. But then I read this sentence:

Per the memo that just landed in council members’ inboxes, new city attorney Larry Casto says it’s now clear there’s at least one more human than Humann wanting a shot at running Fair Park.

Now I can’t congratulate him. I can only moan and say that I thought Steve Blow had retired and suggest that you read the story anyway.
