JLL executive chairman Roger Staubach

Name: Roger Staubach

Company: Jones Lang LaSalle

Title: Executive Chairman-Americas

A former star quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys—his teams reached the Super Bowl five times, winning twice—Roger “The Dodger” Staubach transitioned from pro football to commercial real estate, learning the trade at the knee of Henry S. Miller Jr. A pioneer in tenant representation, Staubach launched his own firm in 1977 and built into a powerful national force. He sold it in 2008 for $613 million to JLL, where he now focuses on business development. Although the former QB has accomplished a great deal both on and off the field, one surprising item remains on his bucket list. To find out more, read on.
