As we mentioned last week, D Academy, D Magazine’s leadership group, discussed education in Dallas. We had several panels, one discussing higher education, one made up of teachers discussing what it’s like to be an educator, and one discussing the home-rule initiative.
This is the video of the last panel’s discussion. The panelists included moderator Eric Celeste, Alliance/AFT President Rena Honea, DISD board member Mike Morath, and Commit’s chief strategy officer and Co-COO Tarik Ward. It’s 30 minutes long. But worth it.
