She’s joined by Miami duo GTA and rapper 2 Chainz, who spent the weekend infringing on a dumb copyright law at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 39th birthday party in New York. I can’t believe Leo is 39. Elsewhere, support your local theater artists with a staged reading of two new plays-in-progress at the Margo Jones Theatre in Fair Park. Workshops and feedback are helpful (understatement) before mounting any sort of full production. Theatre Three’s Bruce Coleman, who also happened to teach me theater in high school, will present the first act of his play Mythical Beastie, while Ben Schroth presents Coin in Tongue. After, you’re going to the Amsterdam for Monday night jazz. Of course.
