How You Can Help Jerry Nguyen’s Family Deal With His Death

Yesterday in Leading Off, Krista mentioned the Jerry Nguyen story. Nguyen was a science and engineering student at Townview High School. On Tuesday, a family friend of Nguyen’s dropped him off at Bryan Adams High School, where he was going to catch a bus to Townview. After Nguyen got out of a green VW Bug, the family friend pulled a U-turn and struck Nguyen, killing him. Nguyen’s family has been saddled with some expenses in the wake of the boy’s death, so his friends and teachers have set up a fund to help. You’ll find it here.
