The Legend of Wylie H. Grows

photo(1)Careful readers and alert FrontBurnervians know the name Wylie H. He is a longtime, astute commenter in this forum and others. He came into prominence recently when the Morning News revealed that Mike Snyder was engaged in sock puppetry on behalf of Museum Tower. Some of that puppetry was aimed at Wylie H. If you’re a subscriber, you can read about it all here. Wylie has taken to calling in to Jim Schutze’s Saturday KNON radio show with his voice disguised.

I like a fellow who is committed to a bit, especially when that bit furthers public discussion about matters that affect the city. You know what I like even more than a fellow who is committed to a bit? A fellow who sends me booze. At our front desk yesterday arrived the pictured bottle of Glenfiddich as a congratulatory gesture for assuming a new post at the magazine.

To Wylie H., I say: thank you, kind sir. To all other commenters, I say: take note.
