To mark the 10th anniversary of the war, Gawker went personal and posted No. 43’s email address. I’m ambivalent about the move. The immature punk in me says, “Dude, nice work.” But the 42-year-old with the bad back and fading basketball skills says, “Really? What does that accomplish? It’s not like he’s going to read all the nasty anti-war email that will presumably flood his inbox. He’s just going to call I.T. and ask for another email address.”
Anyway, all this springs from the recent hack of Bush’s email account by a person using the handle Guccifer. Our own Zac Crain made contact with Guccifer and was given a screen shot of Bush’s Gmail account. We published it in our April issue. It looks better in print, because everything looks better in print, and you should totally buy a copy of the magazine, but if you can’t wait, here it is.
