Because the Plano favorite known for its gourmet backyard cuisine is hosting a special dinner as we welcome in 2017. Chef Kyle Jones and his team are offering a variety of dishes that guests can customize into a mouthwatering four-course feast. What: For a classier, more refined night out this New Year’s Eve, look no further than Julia Pearl Southern Cuisine, as they host a fun, four-course dinner to take you into 2017. Oh but don’t worry, there will be plenty of champagne.

Executive Chef Jermaine Brown and his team have created a special menu for the occasion, and to keep everyone entertained between courses and into the wee hours, the restaurant is welcoming in Fingerprints for a live set. What: As you say goodbye to 2016 and usher in a new year, do it right at Next Door. The Uptown hot spot is ready to celebrate, as they host a high energy party filled with Champagne, music and good looking revelers.

The Chandelier Room

What: On New Year’s Eve, the hottest party in town is coming to the Design District, as the Chandelier Room toasts 2017 with a charity gala you won’t want to miss. The gorgeously-appointed space, part of the Marc Events brand, will play host to Dallas’s social elite, as they drink, dance and ring in the New Year in style. And because it feels good to give back, proceeds will benefit the Young Friends of Wilkinson Center—a group supporting the community through adult education, family enhancement programs and food and emergency services.

The luxurious facility will feature a premium open bar, festive party favors and confetti cannons, plus a live countdown leading to the champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight. The Ivy Tavern

What: On New Year’s Eve, the place to be is The Ivy Tavern, as the lovably dive bar with top-notch food, drinks and one fine patio is hosting a year-end party you don’t want to miss. They’re breaking out a dance floor, plus a light show and music courtesy of DJ Insanity. Naturally, all that movement will cause hunger and thirst, so The Ivy Tavern is keeping the kitchen open until midnight, and then serving its specialty breakfast tacos until 2am.

To keep everyone hydrated, the bar will be serving its popular infusion-based cocktails, featuring the likes of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Absolut Vodka, Beefeater Gin and Avion Tequila. And at midnight, everyone can celebrate 2017 with a champagne toast.
