Whether you decide to be a scantily clad pirate, Stormtrooper, or a political candidate, we have the perfect places for you to celebrate. So, grab your friends, tiaras, wigs, and masks before you head to these Dallas restaurants and bars.

Mudhen Halloween Carnival

Mudhen Meat and Greens is hosting a Halloween Carnival. Chef Suki Otsuki will prepare a festive Harvest Buffet. The restaurant will also showcase delicious fall cocktails such as Sweet Poison, Witches Brew, and the Pumpkin Palmer. Enjoy carnival games, doggie costume contests, and live music from the Skinny Cooks starting at 6:30 p.m.
Time: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.
RSVP: $35-$45 per person includes two cocktails, the Harvest Buffet, and carnival games. Pumpkin carving kits are available for $25 at the carnival.

Halloween Soiree at Ida Claire
Costume contest, scary movies, photo booth—oh my! Everyone grab your creative DIY Halloween outfits and head to Ida Claire for a chance to win a $100 gift card. If your costume is extra awesome, you could win two Dallas Stars tickets for glass seats (sounds like worthy prizes to us). To capture your scary Halloween moments, Ida Claire will have a photo booth on deck. Listen to live music or enjoy Halloween movie screenings. Boo-gie the night away, goblins and goons, and drink up some Witch and Ida’s Smoking Witches Brew directly from a cauldron.

Halloween Party at The Quarter Bar
The Quarter Bar is partnering with the Dallas Sport and Social Club to throw an epic Halloween celebration. Come costume-contest-ready for a chance to win awesome prizes and sip drink specials.

Oak Lawn Halloween Block Party 2016
This event is the perfect Halloween bash for all ages. The event includes a costume promenade with live commentary, music, food, refreshments, and a beer garden. Head to the 3900 block of Cedar Springs and enjoy the Halloween street party.

Halloween Masquerade at Candle Room
Dance to beats by DJ Rocko at Candle Room on Saturday night. Get your over-the-top Halloween costume ready and club the night away in style.

Halloween at Truck Yard

Calling all humans and canines! Truck Yard is hosting two Halloween costume contests. At 5 p.m. all costumed pets will be judged, and at 8 p.m. and they could win a $250 gift card. Owners will be judged at 8 p.m. and could potentially win a $500 gift card. Also, check out the free tarot card readings.

Halloween Drag Brunch at Cedar Grove
Costumes are encouraged for this spooktacular brunch event. Showtimes are 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Barman’s Halloween at Victor Tangos

Victor Tangos is teaming up with Brain Floyd’s Barman’s Fund and 10 of Dallas’ most notable bartenders to raise money for Dallas CASA.

Halloween Contest at Eureka: Dog Edition 
It’s Halloween day and your furry pets want to get into the spirit with you. Dress up your dog in his best attire and bring him to Eureka in Uptown. If your pup wins, the owner receives a gift basket with prizes, including a $50 Eureka gift card.

Pumpkin Carving Contest at Idle Rich Pub
Haven’t carved your very own jack-o-lantern yet? No worries. The Idle Rich Pub has all the supplies you’ll need, plus drinks, and prizes for you this Saturday and Sunday. For $13, you get beer, a pumpkin, and a carving kit to help release your Halloween creativity. All proceeds go to North Dallas Food Bank, and there will be prizes for first, second, and third place carvers. After you carve your pumpkin, stay for their Halloween Bash on Saturday night. Come in your costumes to be entered in a $200 cash prize contest.

Halloween Nights at Dallas Zoo
This Halloween weekend, let the little ones experience a different type of trick-or-treating. At the Dallas Zoo, kids can participate in special events and activities as they scavenge for candy throughout the park.
Time: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
RSVP: Admission is $10 per person for ages 3 and older (includes six candy coupons per guest). Ages 2 and under are free. Dallas Zoo members get a $2 discount.
