Summer and peaches, peaches and summer, the two just go hand-in-hand. Honestly, who doesn’t love a juicy fall-off-the-pit peach during the scorching days of August?

Although peach season is winding down, there are still plenty of Dallas places you can go to satisfy your craving of this sweet, luscious fruit.

CBD Provisions
The first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions peaches is peach cobbler. There is nothing like a bite of the gooey, sweet confection, especially when it is topped with ice cream. If peach cobbler is what you are craving, then CBD located at the Joule in downtown Dallas, has your cure. They serve up a delicious peach-blackberry cobbler topped with pistachio ice cream.

Serj
The quirky coffeehouse is the perfect place to go to if you need a midday break from the hustle and bustle of downtown Dallas. The baristas greet you with a joke that is sure to make you chuckle, and the tables are covered with white paper and crayons so you can doodle and relax while you wait for your food or drink. Their grilled cheese sandwich made with cheddar, provolone, Havarti, and goat cheese is a must-try. Make sure to wash it down with peach Italian soda or a fresh mango peach tea. We also recommend the apricot-peach oolong.

Dallas Farmers Market
If you haven’t had a chance to stop by the Dallas Farmers Market, August is the perfect month to do so. Explore all that this local gem has to offer while picking up a couple of fresh peaches and peach products. The Dallas Farmers Market has two components: the market and The Shed. The market, which features several dining and shopping options, is open Monday-Sunday, while The Shed is only open Friday-Sunday.

The Porch
If you are like me and dessert is not really your thing, then you are going to want to head to The Porch. The restaurant serves a Duroc pork tenderloin with celery root purée, local greens, crimson quinoa, and a peach demi. They also offer a refreshing peach bourbon smash made with bourbon, peach purée, muddles basil and fresh lemon juice.

Peggy Sue BBQ
The beloved Snider Plaza joint may be known for its mouthwatering barbecue, but their dessert does not disappoint. They serve a tasty homemade peach cobbler, the perfect way to end your delicious meal.

Eatzi’s
Eatzi’s provides Dallasites with a unique experience, one step into this market and bakery and you feel as if you are on a European vacation. Whether you’re enjoying one of their 45 kinds of house-made bread or selecting one of their many Italian specialties or artisan cheese, this European-style market and bakery will leave you wanting to come back for more. They also offer a fresh brewed peach mango tea and a heavenly peach pie.

Sevy’s Grill
The neighborhood restaurant is loved by many for its true American cuisine. From seafood to mesquite and hickory smoked meats, their menu has something for everyone. Make sure to stop by and try their delectable peach pie, which is offered year-round.

Lark on the Park
Located across from Klyde Warren Park, the contemporary restaurant is celebrating peach season by adding peaches to their avocado and stone fruit salad. The salad also has watercress and scallions. It’s the perfect light and refreshing meal on a hot summer day.
