Two More New Restaurants to Open: Nikkei and Stirr

Say hello to Milkshake Concepts, the hospitality group behind Citizen in Uptown. Today the owners, Imran and Asim Sheikh, announced they are opening two more restaurants in Dallas.

Nikkei (nik-ay), a Japanese-Peruvian will open in the fall at 2404 Cedar Springs Rd. The bar will feature Japanese whiskey and hand-cut ice cubes. The space will also feature a roof top bar called Mizu.

Milkshake Concepts also has big plans for Deep Ellum. Stirr, a modern American restaurant will open in the fall. The press release doesn’t list an address for Stirr, but notes the “4,000-square-foot first floor space will pair exposed brick and concrete walls with ambient lighting, offering a distinguished and approachable atmosphere.” Stirr will feature a 3,000-square-foot rooftop bar. Expect “everything from coffee to cocktails and small bites to indulgent meals.”
