Wild West Brand Beef Sticks were created by John Montgomery of Jacksboro, Texas. According to his website: “After 25 years of cooking barbecue and grilling outdoors I wanted to try something new… (something) that wasn’t as hard and dry as jerky and not as greasy as snack sticks.” Well John, you hit the nail on the head.

I’ve always been a fan of beef snacks but have never found the perfect combination of jerky and snack sticks. Wild West Brand Beef Sticks are just that combo. They are made with 100% beef and are slow smoked right here in the Lone Star Sate.

Montgomery makes three types of sticks: Original, Jalapeño, and Black Pepper. All three are amazing. The taste and texture are addicting. Wild West Beef Brand products are sold at a number of farmers markets, festivals, and trade days throughout Texas. As of right now, the only place you will find these beef sticks on sale regularly in Dallas is Lee Harvey’s bar on the south side of town.

To find out where you can pick up Wild West Brand Beef Sticks in the coming weeks or to order a few packages online visit their website or like them on Facebook.
