Mersero, the first from-the-ground-up restaurant by iconic restaurateur Mico Rodriguez will open to the public Wednesday, May 25. Mico and his partners Ryan Rogers and Matt Fleeger spent $4 million on the 7,000-square-foot space located in the location that was once a California Pizza Kitchen and a Jake’s. The building at 5505 Belt Line Rd. near Preston Rd. was demolished. A huge patio overlooks the fairways of Prestonwood Country Club. The menu will be contemporary Mexican and American classics with a hint of Tex-Mex.
