The Localist: Two Girls Toffery

Get your hands on this sweet and sticky treat.

Two Girls Toffery is owned and operated by best friends and former college roommates, Judy and Laura. Both women contributed equally to the Addison-based company with Judy owning the recipes and Laura being a trained chef. They agree that in business (and toffee) “it really is all in how you mix it.”

Two Girls Toffery carries nine different varieties of toffee including my favorites: white chocolate and macadamia nut, and milk chocolate, peanut butter with peanuts. The white chocolate and macadamia nut blend is the softer and less decadent of the two while milk chocolate, peanut butter with peanuts is sweet and sticky.

All of the flavors are found at a variety of retail locations in Texas. Buc-ee’s is my go-to for Texas treats and Two Girls Toffery has a nice little spread at any of these you can find along the highway. You can also find them at Preston Road Pharmacy here in Dallas. To learn more about Two Girls Toffery and see a list of all retail locations visit their website here.
