The new Oak Cliff pie company is making several sweet (and savory) treats this Christmas. We recommend the apple cranberry pie made with Granny Smith apples, organic cranberries, and a mix of herbs, baked in a hand-rolled nutmeg and cinnamon-infused crust. The moonshine-infused pecan pie is also a must. All pies can be ordered here. (Side note: Armida Ortega signed a lease at 414 N. Tyler Street in North Oak Cliff yesterday, and will open her first storefront in 2016.)
