pyles-224x3001Two years ago, chef/owner Stephan Pyles announced he was going to downsize his 160-seat restaurant on Ross and move into a smaller place up the street in Craig Hall’s 18-story KPMG building. Initially the plans called for Stephan Pyles, the restaurant, to shutter at the end of 2015. But big projects usually cause big setbacks. (Can you hear me Dallas Farmers Market?)

I checked with Pyles yesterday and it looks like he will continue at 1807 Ross until March 1, 2016. “We will start construction in mid-to-late November,” Pyles says. “Luckily my landlord here has agreed to extend our lease a few months.”

Pyles and company have had to adjust the original design of the space. He’s going to send details soon.
