Meat Fight Tickets Go On Sale Today at 10 a.m.

Tickets for annual MS fundraiser Meat Fight go on sale at 10 a.m. this morning. Have your heart set on attending the barbecue competition? Better hurry. Last year tickets sold out in 5 minutes.

Participating chefs are Cody Sharp (Filament), Nathan Tate (Boulevardier), Janice Provost (Parigi), Eric Dreyer (Fearing’s), Jeff Bekavac (Neighborhood Services), Danyele McPherson (Remedy), Oliver Sitrin (Blind Butcher), Andrew Dilda (Reata), Chad Houser (Café Momentum), David Uygur (Lucia), Patton Robertson (Sissy’s Southern Kitchen), Omar Flores (Casa Rubia), Graham Dodds (Hibiscus), Brian Zenner (On Premise), Eric Shelton (Salina Country Club), and Anastacia Quinones (Kitchen LTO).

The chefs will be divided into four teams and will battle in the following categories: brisket, sausage, pulled pork, and “wild card.”

Judges for the competition are: Aaron Franklin (Franklin BBQ), Tom Perini (Perini Ranch Steakhouse), Daniel Vaughn (Texas Monthly Magazine BBQ Editor), Jack Perkins (Slow Bone BBQ), Jill Bergus (Lockhart Smokehouse), Wayne Mueller (Louie Mueller BBQ), Stephen Joseph (Riverport BBQ), Nick Pencis (Stanley’s Famous BBQ), Kerry Bexley (Snow’s BBQ), Mike Babb (Babb Brothers BBQ), and
Brian C. Luscher (Luscher’s Red Hots/The Grape).

General admission is $95 and VIP is $175. All proceeds benefit the National MS Society and programs that directly benefit those living with MS.

Meat Fight takes place November 15 in the green warehouse at at 2900 Bataan Street in Trinity Groves.
