Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2015

We may not all be Irish, but everybody is invited to partake in the merriment and festivities this St. Paddy’s Day. Here’s a list of some of the best beer-slinging spots to celebrate the holiday.

Blackfriar Pub
When: Saturday, March 14 through March 17
Where: 2621 McKinney Ave., Dallas, Texas 75204
What: Kick off St. Patrick’s Day early. The celebration will offer all things Irish like corned beef reubens, cabbage, a bagpiper, live music from Petty Theft, and regular menu items.

Community Beer Co.
When: Noon
Where: 2621 McKinney Ave., Dallas, Texas 75206
What: In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, there releasing two Irish-style beers: Irish Red and Irish Imperial Stout. The amount is limited to two kegs. Get your tickets online now to secure a commemorative glass and t-shirt for $25.

The Dubliner
When: March 14 through March 17
Where: 2818 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75206
What: There’s a huge block party on Saturday followed by festivities until Tuesday. Enjoy live entertainment with Irish classics like corned beef, cabbage, shepard’s pie, and Guinness beef stew.

The Ginger Man
When: March 17
Where: 2718 Boll Street, Dallas, Texas 75204
What: “Saint Patrick’s Day is known for parades, shamrocks, all things green, and of course your local pub!” We couldn’t agree more. They’ll be celebrating with live music, and of course, beer.

The Filmore Pub
When: March 17

What: They’ll be serving up traditional Irish pub grub, live entertainment and more.

The Idle Rich Pub
When: March 17

What: Dig into traditional corned beef, cabbage, fish and chips, and more. They’ll be showing you how the Irish celebrate with bagpipers, Irish dancing and live music from The Killdares.

Irish Rover Pub and Restaurant

Where: 8250 Gaylord Pkwy, Frisco, Texas 75034
What: This Irish pub is rolling out a special menu with green beer for St. Patrick’s Day.

Malarkey’s Tavern
When: March 14 through March 17
Where: 4460 Trinity Mills Rd, Dallas, Texas 75287
What: It’s advertised to be a huge St. Paddy’s Day Extravaganza all day with corned beef, cabbage, shepard’s pie, green beer, $2 jello shots, giveaways and more.

The Old Monk
When: March 13 through March 17
Where: 8250 Gaylord Pkwy, Frisco, Texas 75034
What: A sister of Blackfriar Pub and The Idle Rich Pub, so you can expect just as much for St. Patrick’s Day. There’s no shortage of Irish beer, food or whiskey here. On Saturday, they’re opening up at 10 a.m. to serve brunch. It will be available until 3 p.m. so head there after the parade. Groove all night to live music by the Homespun Remedies or partake in Irish dancing with bagpipers.

Renfield’s Corner
When: March 14 through March 17
Where: 4050 Beltline Road, Addison, Texas 75001
What: Don’t let the cold keep you from coming. The crowd and rooftop heaters will be keeping you warm. Get out and have a drink, St. Patrick’s Day specials begin on Saturday. The Mavericks aren’t playing but you still wear green to watch the Boston Celtics from one of their 12 flat screen televisions.

Ringo’s Pub
When: March 13 through March 14
Where: 5865 Kincaid Rd, Plano, Texas 75024, USA
What: Rain or shine, the 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party goes on. There will be green beer, food trucks, live bands, DJs, and Sambuca will be in the mix.

Sherlock’s Baker Street Pub
When: March 17
Where: 9100 N Central Expy, Dallas, Texas 75231
What: “Let’s Get Shamrocked” is the phrase that gets you in. Tonight, there’s no cover charge, just St. Patrick’s Day fun. You can enjoy the Irish menu or trying one of the new Lucky Libations like Irish Dunk, which consists of UV Whipped Vodka and Irish cream dunked in a pint of Guinness. Oh and two words: green beer.

Staggering Irishman
When: March 17

What: You could walk away with a 50’’ television, full stomach and a nice buzz. Nothing but drink specials, green beer, Irish food, live music and good times.

Trinity Hall Irish Pub
When: March 14 through March 17
Where: 5321 E. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75206
What: Here, they pride themselves on being Irish 52 weeks in a year. It’s no wonder there’s a week of festivities. The pub continues its tradition of pre-parade breakfast on Saturday. Bring the family out for Family Ceili Pub Day on Sunday. There’s even a pre-party if you can’t make it out with St. Patrick’s Eve Happy Hour and Texas Holdem Poker. The Irish music will begin early in the morning throughout the night on St. Patrick’s Day. Chef Oscar’s menu is loaded with Irish favorites and vegetarian-friendly options.
