All aboard for seven glorious days and nights on the Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Cruise Lines’ modern luxury ship geared toward the gourmand. Join Dallas chefs Matt McCallister and John Tesar along with TJ’s Fish Market expert Jon Alexis for a culinary adventure through one of the most majestic areas of Alaska.

Our voyage begins in Seattle on August 14, 2015. We’ll be sailing to Ketchikan, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Skagway, Alaska’s Inside Passage, Victoria, British Columbia and back to Seattle on August 21. We have put together some once-on-a-lifetime activities such as foraging for food with Matt McCallister in a remote area of  North Douglas Island. We will get an up-close-and-person look at the commercial crabbing industry in Ketchikan. Onboard, John Tesar will host a seafood cooking demo and Jon Alexis will pair seafood and wine. I am going to lead an adventurous group on a rafting trip down a remote river to the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve.

We are still working out some of the on board activities, but you can find all of the glorious details we have put together already on our landing page. The Celebrity Solstice is a gorgeous ship with specialty restaurants, casinos, Canyon Ranch spa, nightly entertainment, and groovy places to mix and mingle at cocktail hour. Take a look at the ship here.

Take a look at the D Magazine Baked in Alaska customized itinerary. There is no online booking, you must call 888-727-4907 (Option 3) and ask for group #322134.
