Beer lovers, I have news for you. Fall is coming, and with it, a whole new slew of beer releases. There are two different keg tappings tonight to help you get through the rest of the week.

At 5 pm, Rabbit Hole Brewing Co. will be holding its first public cask tapping of Centennial Pale Ale at Meddlesome Moth. The release of Off With Your Red start next week, so be ready for that one.

At 8:30 pm, Franconia Brewing Company will be doing a traditional keg tapping ceremony at the Old Monk. Franconia’s recently released Oktoberfest is resting inside a 200-year-old wooden German cask, and a tap will be hammered into the keg and poured into steins. Prost!

The steins are $15 filled with beer. Then there is a stein holding competition, of course. The winner gets a $50 gift card, and 2nd place gets $25. German food will be served, including warm baked pretzels, wurst of all kinds, and a pastrami reuben. Old Monk opens at 3 pm.
