FRIDAY

Whole Food’s Park Lane location is offering an Italian wine dinner to benefit the Whole Planet Foundation tonight, March 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Whole Food’s executive chefs have a full menu filled with exquisite Italian cuisines and Italian wine. How does an antipasto platter, cous cous fricassee, gran passione rosso, and tiramisu sound to you? Make your reservation online before the dinner tonight. $30 per person

If you haven’t explored the option of going to Savor Dallas’ Arboretum event tonight, you should. In fact, we told you earlier this week why you should probably spend your entire weekend drinking fantastic wines and tasty Dallas food. It’s one of the spring’s best festivals.

SATURDAY

A lot of farmers markets are starting up again. Check out this list of Dallas-area markets for all your shopping needs.

If you are bored with your usual wine dinner, Cantina Laredo is spicing up this Saturday night with a tequila dinner featuring Corazon Tequila at 7 p.m. The menu will include lamb taquitos, seafood cascabel soup, an entrée choice of NY strip or sea bass Oscar, and chocolate rice pudding for dessert. Reservations can be made by calling 214-265-1610. $49.99 per person
