Brian Bergersen, managing partner of the Farmers Market ownership, just sent me a statement.

“We will miss our Pecan Lodge friends, Diane and Justin Fourton and their staff, as well as their delicious barbeque and wish them well in their new location,” Bergersen says. “They’ll still see us often at lunch time.”

Bergersen and company will also see the Fourtons shopping at the Dallas Farmers Market. Pecan Lodge uses products from many of the local farmers and they will continue to do so. The new, larger space in Deep Ellum at 2702 Main Street will allow the Fourtons to add seating and more customer conveniences. I’m sure some big names will end up in both the DFM and Deep Ellum.
